Srinagar Police recover country made revolver, live rounds; 3 held | KNO

Srinagar, Nov 06 (KNO): Police on Thursday said that it arrested three persons and recovered a country-made pistol along with live ammunition from their possession during naka checking in the Khanyar area of the city. A senior police official told the news agency—Kashmir News Observer (KNO), that a vehicle was intercepted by a police party during routine checking at Khonkhan Dalgate. He said two persons were on board and during the search, one country-made pistol (desi katta) and nine live rounds were recovered from their possession. He added that during sustained questioning, the duo revealed the identity of their aide, who was later detained. Meanwhile, the official said a case FIR number, 51/2025 under relevant sections of law has been registered and further investigation has been set into motion—(KNO)
